ShawScope was established in January 2023, born out of a personal
experience that highlighted the difficulty and expense of finding earwax
removal services after GPs stopped offering them. With a background
as a registered nurse, the founder took matters into their own hands by
enrolling in the only accredited course available in the UK for earwax
removal, offered by TympaHealth in London.
After becoming an accredited practitioner, ShawScope was founded
with the name inspired by the founder's surname 'Shaw' and the
'scope of treatments' they aimed to provide. Initially, the business
started by offering convenient home visits, benefiting those unable
to leave their homes.
Driven by a passion for providing valuable services, ShawScope
decided to venture into Cryotherapy, offering freezing treatments for
various skin lesions, from moles and warts to skin tags.
This decision was prompted by the lack of such services offered
by GPs for cosmetic reasons.
ShawScope's dedication to expanding their offerings is evident, and they
are open to suggestions for new treatments to better serve their clients.
Customer satisfaction and safety are paramount, and the team is always
eager to address any questions or concerns.
Behind the scenes, ShawScope has the support of a dedicated
and caring individual, the founder's wife Tessa. Although not an
employee, she volunteers her time to assist with phone calls
and social media posts, ensuring seamless communication
with clients.
